A woman told the police that she was selling her pets via an online platform.
A potential buyer responded to the ad, who came to meet on the same day, as reported by "Minsk Police".
After choosing the puppies, the woman put them into a carrier and started to leave. She promised to bring the money from the car, however, once outside, she fled with the stolen dogs.
The pet owner tried to catch her, but to no avail.
Officers of the Savetski District Department of Internal Affairs, who arrived at the call, promptly detained the 51-year-old thief.
According to the woman, she wanted to make herself a birthday present.
A criminal case has been initiated.
