According to the Ukrainian military department, on the night of December 19, Ukrainian drones attacked the Project 22460 patrol ship "Okhotnik," which was located near an oil and gas field.
A drilling platform at the Filanovsky field, owned by "Lukoil," was also damaged. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the platform is used to supply fuel resources to Russian troops. The extent of the damage is currently unknown.
In recent months, Ukraine has increased the number of strikes on Russian oil infrastructure. In particular, Ukrainian Armed Forces drones attacked several tankers of Russia's "shadow fleet" in the Black and Mediterranean Seas, and an oil platform in the Caspian Sea. In response to the attacks on tankers, Vladimir Putin threatened to "cut Ukraine off from the sea" and allowed for the possibility of striking ships belonging to Kyiv's allies.
