Russian channels forbidden to write about accident involving Adam Kadyrov
Russian resources, close to security forces, received a strict order to ignore a traffic accident in Grozny , in which the son of Chechen leader Adam Kadyrov was seriously injured. As it became known to the project «Mozhem Obyasnit» (We Can Explain), news about the incident has been banned in popular resources such as Mash, Shot, and Baza.

According to employees of these publications, the ban came directly from the management. In particular, Shot's chief editor Robert Klyucharov blocked any mention of the accident in the incidents department. A similar situation occurred at Mash and Baza.
Analysis of Telegram channels confirms the information blockade: Shot, which usually reacts instantly to any emergency situations, last mentioned the Kadyrov family on December 12.
What happened in Grozny?
According to the Chechen opposition, the incident involving Kadyrov Jr.'s motorcade occurred in Grozny.
Eyewitnesses described Adam Kadyrov's condition as "terrible". The injuries were so severe that after resuscitation attempts at a local hospital, he was urgently sent by special flight to Moscow, to Botkin Hospital. Judging by flight monitoring service data, Ramzan Kadyrov himself, along with his relatives, flew to the Russian capital following the plane carrying the injured.
Chechen authorities tried to refute rumors about Adam's serious condition by publishing a video of him participating in an official event in Grozny. However, journalists found out that these were so-called "canned" footage — archived shots from a meeting that took place long before the accident.
Adam Kadyrov is only 18 years old, but he has long been a well-known figure both in Chechnya and beyond.
In September 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov published a video showing then 15-year-old Adam beating Nikita Zhuravel in a pre-trial detention center, who was accused in a case involving the burning of the Quran. At that time, the head of Chechnya stated that he was proud of his son.
After this, Adam Kadyrov began to receive various awards, and in addition, despite his very young age, he took several high positions in Chechnya. Among other things, he is the Secretary of the Chechen Security Council and the curator of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs.
