The number of people using paper tickets to pay for travel has decreased in recent years to 13.5%. Travel passes are used by 66.7% of passengers. Konstantin Gololobov, CEO of "Minsktrans", shared this data, as reported by Minsk-news.
The mobile application "Aplatsi" has been installed and is used by 7.1% of passengers.
Minsktrans reminded that a single centralized fare payment system using bank cards should soon start operating in Minsk. Equipment is currently being purchased for this. This functionality was launched in test mode last autumn.
