Researcher and writer Jazep Januškievič announced the re-publication of his comprehensive work — the album 'Faces of the 1863-1865 Uprising', which was released at the end of June, writes 'The Union of Belarusian Writers'.

It consists of 300 photo portraits, and the descriptions are provided in three languages: Belarusian, Lithuanian, and Polish.
With this book, the author symbolically decided to mark the 50th anniversary of his work in the field of Belarusian studies.
The presentation is scheduled for autumn 2026.

Jazep Januškievič is a well-known and recognized researcher of Belarusian literature and culture of the 19th-20th centuries. In particular, he was the first to publish Kastuś Kalinoŭski's 'Letters from Under the Gallows', the original of Dunin-Marcinkievič's 'Pinskaya Shlyakhta' (Pinsk Nobility), and documents concerning the birth and life of P. Bahrym.
