Belarusians warned about large fines for unauthorized installation of air conditioners
The State Property Committee reminded that unauthorized installation of an external air conditioner unit without proper documentation is considered an administrative offense. This is subject to liability under the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Belarus.

The fine can range from 2 to 15 basic units. Considering the current size of the basic unit, this is approximately from 84 to 630 rubles.
In addition to the fine, the owner may be obliged to dismantle the air conditioner at their own expense if legalizing the installation is no longer possible.
Specialists advise to find out in advance whether approval is required for a specific house, especially if the building has requirements for facade changes. This will help avoid fines and additional costs.
