Minsk resident Katsiaryna was strolling along the Svislach riverbank near the Stella and saw an animal near the river that was unexpected for such a place. The girl shared this on the Threads social network, writes Blizko.by.
The girl saw a beaver on the Svislach embankment. Surprisingly, the animal was not afraid of people or the sounds of the bustling avenue. The beaver calmly searched for something in the grass and sat on the bank near the water.
"I've been in forests so many times and never met a beaver, and here it is, right in the center of the capital!" — the author wrote in the publication.
In the comments, it was noted that the beaver settled on that bank of the Svislach quite a long time ago but comes out to people after sunset, late in the evening.
