Belarusian football club "ML Vitebsk" suffered a crushing defeat from Romanian club "Universitatea" from Craiova in a Champions League qualification match.

The game, which was formally a home match for Vitebsk, but was held in Hungary, ended with a score of 1:4 in favor of the Romanian team.
The Romanians scored three goals already in the first half, two of them from penalties. The last one flew into the Belarusian goal in the minutes added to regular time. The only goal for "ML Vitebsk" was scored by Valery Gromyko with a long-range shot.
The return leg will take place on July 15 in Romania.
