The benefit will apply to:
- 600 tons of cauliflower and broccoli;
- 200 tons of eggplants;
- 5.2 thousand tons of sweet bell peppers.
The products must be imported for retail sale. To take advantage of the benefit, it is necessary to obtain confirmation of the goods' intended purpose.
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade will issue such confirmations and determine the procedure for applying the benefit.
The decision was made as part of the implementation of the resolution of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on changing customs tariffs for certain types of vegetable products.
Previously, duties on the import of beef, cocoa butter, apricots, sweet cherries, and some types of fabrics had already been zeroed out in the EAEU.
