Russians crossed the border and forcibly removed more than 50 civilians from Sumy Oblast; the oldest woman is 89 years old.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed media reports that Russian troops crossed the state border of Ukraine near the village of Hrabovske in Sumy Oblast and took out more than 50 civilians from there.

Dmytro Lykhovii, a representative of the Main Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told "Ukrainska Pravda" in a comment that as a result of the enemy's offensive, the Defense Forces withdrew from several positions in the Hrabovske area.
More than 50 civilian citizens of Ukraine were forcibly removed from the settlement by the Russians to the territory of the Russian Federation. These are mainly elderly men and women, one of whom is 89 years old. Almost all of them had previously refused to evacuate deeper into Ukrainian territory, Lykhovii emphasized.
The military urged residents of border territories to evacuate. Sumy authorities have already organized this process — over 30,000 people have been evacuated, and almost 5,700 more people (including 38 children) refused to leave, the officer added.
According to Kordon.Media publication, on the night of December 20, in Krasnopillia, Sumy Oblast, Russian troops entered the border village of Hrabovske, located directly on the border line.
According to "UP" (Ukrainska Pravda) in military circles, attempts to storm the Sumy region border section in the Hrabovske area have been ongoing for several days.
