Trump reminded Iran of his earlier ultimatum and gave it 48 hours
US President Donald Trump presented Iran with a new ultimatum — or rather, reminded them that the previous one was expiring. He stated that Iran has two days left to stop blocking the Strait of Hormuz.

“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz? Time is running out — 48 hours until hell breaks loose on them,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
Trump first gave Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz on March 21. Then he stated that after this deadline, the US would destroy Iran's largest power plants.
Two days later, Trump stated that the US was having “very productive conversations” with some Iranian representatives, and therefore he was postponing strikes on power plants.
He then postponed the deadline once more, and now it is set to expire on April 6.
